The chances of retrieving lost Data are increased if you switch off your system as soon as you start to experience problems. Companies with Extensive IT systems can lose data. The cost of backing up data effictively is always cheaper than having it recovered. If you are experiencing data loss, please turn off your pc immediately, this will greatly increase the chances of successfully retrieving your data. If you accidentally delete a certain file, it's not actually deleted. This is why people with naughty habits are caught out by forensic IT teams!
Data recovery on a formatted hard drive should always be possible. If you have re installed your operating system i.e. XP or Vista and all your data has disappeared.
